Product Description
Bottom PVC weatherseal is an aftermarket seal designed to work with Overhead Series 400 doors. When insulation at the bottom of a garage door begins to break down it allows weather, debris, drafts, and pests to get into a commercial facility. This weatherseal acts as replacement insulation for a variety of non-insulated and insulated two inch steel Overhead doors. Constructed from a reliable vinyl compound that fills the gaps and won’t warp or crack from sub-zero temperatures.

Garage door bottom seal
I live in a house built in 1930's as a Gulf Service Station. I scoured the internet looking for a bottom seal that would work on my doors. Only the 400 series seal appeared to work. Elite had the best price of the few sellers I found. Have installed on one door. Looks & works great.

Seal out those critters!
I purchased this, because it was the closest to my original garage door specs. My old seal looked like somebody who had been sunbathing for 40 years without any sunscreen. This seal is thicker than the cheap stuff you get over the counter and was the perfect length to fill the gaps. I did need to alter it a little, because it wasn't exactly the same as my old one, but it did the trick. Now it's sealed tight and keeps out all the critters (including the human kind)! Super duper fast shipping!

Good product for older garages
I have an old Martin garage door that doesn't have the commonly used metal retainers used today. This product worked great. Little difficult for one person to install, but that's not the fault of the product. Elite garage door sent a free sample with follow up which was quite helpful. Would highly recommend Elite Garage as well as this product if you're looking for a hard to replace seal for an older garage door.

Fixed it myself for 1/6th the cost.
The bottom weatherstripping on my roll-down garage door had entirely worn out--decades ago. About 15 years ago, I made a trip to Home Depot and looked, but nothing matched. I called a garage door place and asked for a replacement quote. They never showed up. Lately I called a another guy, and he said they would have to retrofit my garage door with a universal weatherstripping and retainer. It would cost $30 for a look-see, and about $300 to repair--if their universal kit would work. Last Monday, I had a guy come out and take a look at my door, and he said it was an antique "pinch design" and he didn't have the weatherstripping--standing there as if I had to buy a new garage door. When I stood there and stared back, he said, "maybe you can glue one on." Wednesday, I "doubled-down" and searched the Internet. I sketched the design of my garage door weatherstripping and retainer, and combed through several internet sites until I found some thing that seemed like it would work nicely. $57 out the door, delivered. Today I spent an hour removing the old weatherstripping, cleaning the retainer and installing the new weatherstripping. Works great. In the words of my boss Jim Robison, who would finish a job and exclaim... "NEXT!"

Product was the correct shape but bigger so I had to adjust the settings to lock door in the new closed position.
